Bend Over So You Can Read the Fine Print... WHAT IS THIS? This is the entrance to a collection of doll projects that I felt were maybe too raunchy for my main website. Selecting articles has been a tough call since raunchiness permeates my website... but I didn't want to put my entire website in the dungeon and ya gotta start somewhere. I don't think any of the selected projects are pornographic. I'd like to believe that they have some value from a hobby perspective, but they're definitely not intended for casual browsing by children (although I think the attitude is probably more harmful than the pictures of naked doll breasts). Under the user website hosting options of ev1, I didn't have any way to regulate access to those articles, and I really didn't want to go through the hassle of finding a true domain host, figuring out how to do stuff, and moving my website again. After all, it's just a vanity website with no commercial intentions. So this is the gate you go through to access those articles. While this doesn't pretend to be a foolproof means of protection, Proboards offers a significant level of access control by letting me require registration to view content, and password protection of the content. This means that search engines won't be finding this stuff to catalog it. My website currently gets a huge amount of traffic through searches for unsavory phrases, and I just want to make it a little bit more difficult. My images are clinically named so that although I'll continue to host them at the ev1 site, there won't be any text context to link an image named "050505.jpg" to "large breasted demoness", for example. As I said, access requires registration, logins, and passwords. If you want to see this stuff badly enough that you bother to register, you shouldn't complain about it being too raunchy. By raunchy, I mean weird fetishy stuff that probably doesn't appeal to the mainstream. If you're underage, you don't belong here. If I have any reason to suspect that you're underage or just a run-of-the-mill miscreant, you go bye-bye. So where are the articles? You select articles by using the small pulldown menu named "Forum Jump" at the bottom right hand side of the page. If you've managed to read this far, congratulations-- you have the attention span necessary to learn the secret of the article passwords: An article's password is the date in the title, minus the slashes. Thus & therefore, first there's your login username and password, and after that, you'll be asked for a second password (the article's date as a six-digit number) to access the article. You can use the pulldown menu to look it up the date if you forgot it. (You will have to remember which article you're trying to view though-- I can't help you through that!) Confusing, huh? I realize that this is an inconvenience-- Sorry. It's a hassle for me too, since I have to do all the same login & password stuff, plus edit the articles specifically for this format.
